radiator q's...

i want to find a different radiator for the fc.
not a stock replacement, a whole different one.
i want it to be the same hight. and thickness(or more) but not as long.
reason being, i want to run a intake to the front bumper with out cutting up the car.
i figure, make some brackets, do some duct work... it'd be perfect, no cuts needed.
so i plan to scour the yards.
but i need to know does size alone matter or are there other things i should look for, and is there anything specific to the fc rad that would screw me over in this?

Size , Flow Through, And Path Of The Flow (like Cross-flow) Determine The Ability To Cool Your Engine. Making The Radiator Shorter Without Increasing Another Feature To Compinsate For The Decrease Will Result In Overheating. Radiator Pressure Determines The Boiling Point Of The Coolerent. The Release Of The Pressure Is Determined By The Pressure Rating Of The Cap (normally 14-16 Pounds).

get a custom one made if this is what you want to do, have them make one that is cross flow, and has the same capacity as stock.
