radiator options (humor me)
radiator options (humor me)
I'm sure this has been covered before, but seeing as radiator comes up in 21342343 threads...i'm asking again. I'm looking to get a new radiator for my tII. What is the best essentially drop in replacement for the stocker that do as well as the koyo for the same or preferably less money. They (koyo) are going for right at $300 shipped on ebay...is there anything as good for better for this kind of money that doesn't need modification to install?
koyo doesn't come with any shroud. your stock fan shroud wouldn't "fit" without a little fabrication since the Koyo rads are 53mm compared to the stock which is like 38mm, i think.
you can make your stock shroud fit, just gotta be creative
, or go e-fan

koyo, fluidyne and mazdaspeed are the only "bolt in" upgrade radiators for the FC that i know of. there is other companies with radiators that will work for less money but they are not bolt in replacements.

well i shouldn't even say bolt on, the koyo requires a little modification to the shroud to fit and i prefer just fabricating up new mounting brackets. the OEM brackets do require some drilling to fit.
some of the FC radiators differ, i know i had an issue with the brackets off an AE that wouldn't bolt right onto the koyo so i made up some custom brackets for that one as well.
ok guys sry kinda off subject, but my car runs like 180 degrees at idle but when i drive at highway speed it goes up to like 190 or 195 and as soon as i slow down it goes back to 180 y is this? 88 tII stock cooling system
