Radiator Leak, need advice

Guys, I just got my car back 3 days ago from my mechanic, rebuilt ported motor, and the car has been running fine, but this morning I started the car and the ADD COOLENT buzzer went off. I had to get to work this morning so I ran inside and added some water and it was fine. When I got to work I checked under the hood and there is a small amount of water around the cap that seems to be coming from the 2 screws that hold that piece on. My mechanic said he replaced the o ring and it never leaked on him. Has anyone else had this problem, and what do I need to do to fix it? I've just gotton the car back after a year of not having it, so if somebody could help me fix this I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Make sure the coolant level sensor is connected... the wires tend to break off quite easily.

Well, checking the coolant sensor is only to make sure that it's not going off for no reason... which mine does, since the coolant sensor wire broke off... I had to buy a new 30-dollar sensor because there was no wire left to solder, and I then had to adapt the female end (car side) with a crimp-on female bullet to make it compatible with the cheaper S4-use sensor...

But it sounds like you might actually have a coolant leak.

Please do check your hoses...

Why? The problem was probably created by him when he re-assembled your engine so make him fix it.
