radiator fan shroud mod

i think this may help pull more air throught the radiator
instead of the fan pulling air from engine bay, because of the big gap.

please double check and make sure that your engine/motor/fan is not moving around much.

i have soild motor mount!
this should help only at idle/moving slow
@ high speed this mod may reduce air flow
due to smaller fan shroud exit?

p

plz don't flame

Your theory is sound (reduced blade tip clearance inproves fan efficiency), but you're trying to fix a non-existant problem. If the fan was keeping the enigne cool before, doing this won't make it run any cooler.

And you should should put a proper thermostat back in so the cooling system works the way it's supposed to...

you need to do it now...the car needs a PROPER and constant TEMP to operate at peak efficiency....a motor that is cold or too cool is almost as bad as one that is too hot....
