Radiator fan question

What is recommended for a replacement radiator and an electric fan......you know the all too famous "cracks and leaks in the radiator" story. So just wondering on the sizes and stuff for replacement radiator and electric fan.

Go for a koyo radiator from mazdatrix.com or ebay

go to your local junkyard spend $15 on a 96 ford taurus fan

go to autozone and buy the $35 electric fan thermostat to wire it up.
(go to faq for info on wiring the fan up but the directions are easy to use)

(they have a mess up in the system, you have to ask for them to bring up the part seperately and look for the alternate part number o nthe fan thermostat)(at least in mass I did, it took me 2 days to finally get one and every autozone I went to had them)

Make sure that it is "electric fan thermostat" and not fan switch

Koyo Radiator FTW!
or you can get a OE Brass Radiator for less from RP @ www.rx7.com
You can keep your stock clutch fan and the shrould it should be fine.

If not you go with Black Magic E-fan or The ford tarus e-fan.

kevin's writeup is pretty good but I have no idea how he managed to make due with an efan out of an escort. I don't even have my ac hooked up and on a cold day the car would aproach over heating doing stop and go driving. The taurus efan is amazing on the other hand. Fits almost perfectly on the stock radiator.
