Racing Beat's REV30 rotor mufflers

Has anyone heard these yet?
Better yet has anyone swapped from RB stainless mufflers to these mufflers?

Still not sure if I like them or not, they look kind of goofy in the ad on thier own, but a installed pic out the back bumper would do them more justice.

They look pretty bad ***...but I don't think I need to have it on my car.

It may look better on the 8 where the rotor shape is more prevalent in the car.

It would be cool to use one as a presilencer, I don't think I'd put them on the back of the car though.

so then we can agree that a picture of them installed would do them more justice.

dont know if I would bother using it a presilencer, why hide it all the way under the car?

I can see these possibly looking very good on an RX-8. I really don't see how you could pull it off on an FC.

How are they gonna fit it?..lemme see,the round part on top,and a crease running up and down the car on the bottom.
That would mean that if you run over anything,it would Dent it all to hell.
if The Top was a point, you wouldn't see the Rotor shape anyways..
So,For Me?I'll pass..I got Rotor Shaped KEYS,I don't need any more Triangular things Poking out of my car.

if they came with a bolt up flange so these would bolt right up to the RB revi-2 exhaust i have on my rx8 i would buy them.. they would look awesome on the 8 because the exhaust comes out of the bumper so you would see the whole rotor shape of the muffler.. i dunno if they would fit through the openings though..

What is the diameter of those things? I don't see how you could hang them on the back with them sitting low enough for people to see the rotor shape. They'd bottom out real easily.

I wish RB had spent their research and development money on re-releasing their vert wing. Course they said they only sold about 100 of them first time around, so what do I know??

Judging on the fact it was used on the furai, I bet mazda footed the bill.

I dont see that much engineering in those mufflers, they use the same core as thier other mufflers, I dont even see hangers on them.

They bent them up, made some end caps and probably played with the length of the muffler a little, probably made a few different diameters and lengths and handed them to mazda to see which ones they liked the best- or something along those lines.

they are not that expensive, $130 cheaper then the REVTII mufflers.

It seems that it would fit as a center exit exhaust better.

Doesn't the rx8 have a rotor shaped emblem in the center of the rear bumper? That would be a good spot since it sits higher and inside the bumper.

yeah they do have the rotor emblem in the center, it comes with the appearance package from the factory. but im pretty sure that there isnt any room behind it so it would take some crazy modding to get it to work..ill double check on that tho when im not feeling to lazy to walk outside and look at mine..lol

come to think of it the dimensions of the muffler make them more compact then the REVTII mufflers.

I just wonder if they will be lost behind the bumper or not
