Question Racing Beat's Rear Suspension Upright Toe Eliminator bushings???

Who has the Rear Suspension Upright Toe Eliminator Bushings from Racing Beat?? do they work? Do they stop my rear end from shaking and shuttering in a corner?? I hear the sencond gens only, have a DTSS (Dynamic Toe Steering Suspenion or System) system that allows the rear wheels to turn as the g's in a corner are increased. Most real drivers hate this but the average person doesn't even notice this. I know that the fact that I have shot bushings back their, in all ares could be the cause of some of the discomfort. I have just bought coilovers from GAB and am about to buy new bushings all the way around as well as new sway bars. Nothing is installed yet, but do any of the other sencond gen owners know about this??? It feels like the car gets sideways but when you correct it changes the direction of the car an you have to turn sharper to make the corner. As you turn sharper the shutter and shaking comes back. The only way to stop it is go slower through the corner. What the hell??? My first gen corners like a bat out of hell, what is the problem. I own an 88 GTU N/A, and I have driven an 88 SE and mine is stiffer then the 88 SE, but still the same problem. Both had stock suspension set ups. My 85 GSL-SE first gen has illuminas 5 ways and spings and it can take some third gens through coners. Talk about scaring the **** out of people. What do you guys think about the Racing Beat Suspension Upright toe Eliminator Bushings???

I`m curious as well - I have Mazdaspeed coilovers and notice that in a long sweeping bend, the back seems to oscilate between being neutral and feeling like oversteer - like it is continuously steering in and out at the back. If I push really hard, I have to adjust for this with steering input - I assume the bushing change fixes this ??

First off, if you still have stock rear shocks in your car, replace those first before jumping to conclusions. EVERY FC I've ever seen had rear shocks that were COMPLETELY gone, causing all kinds of weird stuff with the back end of the car.

That said, the toe bushings do work, and work well. They are a ROYAL pain to change, though - you have to remove the rear axle nut, which is seriously on there, and the old bushing has to be pressed out by a machine shop. Been there, done that.

There are two small dog-bone links, each about 3-4" long, in the rear that are prone to wear and typically should be replaced. The rest of the rear bushings don't have a very dramatic affect on the rear suspension, and can be messed with at a later date.
