racing beat timing

I have seen where the tabs break off but you can still see where they were tacked on. Clean that whole area that ''bastard'' posted. you will see it eventually, and the Timing light should still be able to catch it. But do line up with factory markings when you set the timing.
bringing this back fomr the dead. I have a project car that came with the RB pulley and I had to yank out the CAS to test my daily driver.
Now, I've noticed there are 4 timing marks. I assume they are centered at Zero and then notches at 10 or 20 ahead each way.
So I assume that I am using the second from left most notch to set my timing right? Or is the right most notch Zero and there are 4 negative timing marks?
I only have my daily driver to compare to but I'm not removing the fan shourd and waterpump and etc just to get a timing reference.
