Racing beat straight pipe with presilencer into a corksport ps catback -will it work?

I want to do this for the following reasons:

1.) I want to fart flames

2.)"The down pipe is equipped with an exhaust back-pressure tube for correct operation of the 6-port actuators. Installation of this requires the removal of the air control and check valve and the air pump. This kit includes all necessary mounting hardware, air control & check valve cover plate, and gaskets (Back Pressure Pick-up and Replacement Pipe-to-Presilencer gasket only). If the exhaust manifold outlet or Y-pipe gaskets are needed, refer to the “Exhaust Gaskets” section of the site for suitable replacements. We also offer the Down Pipe separately for those building custom exhaust systems. "

...but what I really want to get was the 1986-92 RX-7 (Non-turbo) Streetable Header/Collector, and have this connect to the corksport catback system...RB seems to suggest that this would be too loud, and not reccomended for fuel injected 13B's...hmmm...

...I want a full exhaust system with a reasonable price tag and still be able to open all 6 ports...loudness and emmisions is not an issue...anyone have any suggestions?...

my next option was to just buy the cork sport staright pipe and use it with the catback, leaving the stock exhaust manifold and presilencers on...but I really want to take everything off and run straight piping from the headers back...hmmm...

it will work fine, the streetable header will bolt to the presilencer, which has all the backpressure stuff you mentioned, and will bolt up to stock exhaust, or any other catback... why do i know? i just ordered the same setup.. corksport just got the systems back in stock. not a bad system for 6oo bucks or so.

the header will be a little loud though, and so might the exhaust, spend the 20 bucks extra and get the insert.

you can always *gasp* use header wrap.

I have the Header/Presilencer set up with 2 3"magnaflow cans, its loud at high rpms but as long as I dont hit hard the gas it'll stay more in a low pitch, and also shoot flames , I dunno how loud will the corksport be.

well guys! i'm really happy about my set-up! oh yeah! headers to magnaflow muffler "it works as a silencer"-to single 2.25 " pipe all the way to the back to a not rice looking oval magnaflow muffler! .It's not loud at all on low rpms!,but if you hit the gas you will get this deep sound from a beast call rotary machines! and the best thing was the $300 dollars that i haved spend for all this ! "include labor " thanx to vrs in miami! .)Ohhhh i forgot the $5 bux tip " for a cold beer".

Well, this is a little off this topic but not really. Does anybody know if the RB 3" Complete Exhaust System Presilencer will bolt up to the full 3" CS catback? Not the one that flares out to 3", but the one that is 3" from the flange back. If it doesn't I guess I'll just have to take it to an exhaust shop or something.

I am resurrecting this thread because I just got another idear:

- can I use the Racing Beat Catalytic Converter Replacement Pipe w/ Presilencer and connect this to CorkSport's Power Series Catback exhaust?

...from what I understand, this would leave the stock exhaust manifold/headers on, but would replace the two precats and main cat with straight tubing, which would then connect to the catback exhaust...

can someone confirm this, just to prevent some misunderstanding and a potential waste of money?...thanks...

Yep you can use the catalytic pipe-presilencer and any catback you want, as far the catalyitic converter pipe will replace all precats and main cats but will not replace manifold, reason: because will be less noisy compare to a header.
