Exclamation racing beat race mid pipe studs snapped!

tonight while going to take off the catback my racing beat midpipe's studs sheered off. they seemed to tighten both ways, and i couldnt tell if something is reverse threaded or just cross threaded. are these studs replacable? anyone know the size, pitch, thread? id like to fix it ASAP. <3 Russ

I had this happen to me, so I took it to RB for repair.

The studs mount from behind the flange. So to replace them you need to first cut off the flange, then press out the old stud, press in the new, and weld the flange back on.

I got mine with the studs broken off. I drilled out the old studs and tapped the mid pipe. I bought some threaded rod and used that for new studs. I haven't had any problems with it.

You could try, but if they don't want to come out you'll end up having to do what either Hozzman or I suggested.
