Racing Beat FCC install help

Yeah yeah, I tried searching till my fingers were blue, but I couldn't find anything.

Does anyone have photos of how a T2 FCC is supposed to be installed?

On their website they call it the Fuel Cut Controller.

I want pics. Basically I have one in the car, but I don't know if it's hooked up right because a Mechanic messed with it. I never installed it in the first place.

Originally, with it hooked up, my stock boost gauge didn't work at all. Now it does. I do not know if it is reading real values, or "FCD modified" values. I need a picture, to show me if it's hooked up right.

Hey, if your boost gauge wasn't working when it was hooked up, but now does, that means that when it was hooked up, it WAS working!

What a fuel cut controller does is fool your car's ECU into thinking that it's boosting less than it really is, thus eliminating the possibility of ECU cutting fuel to the rear rotor. Unfortunately with a FCD/FCC your stock boost gauge is useless, since the factory gauge runs off the factory ECU. So even when you are boosting, with the FCC hooked up, the ECU doesnt't know you're boosting so it doesn't even register on the factory gauge, or it will show less than you really are boosting.

Sorry that I can't help you with pics, but if you can't get any see if you can hook the FCC up just as it was before . . . hopefully it'll work. Also, get an aftermarket boost gauge. It will work with the FCC in place, plus its way more useful and accurate than the stock one anyway. Good Luck!

Peace
