Racing beat exhaust redesign... will it make a power difference?

So I'm in the process of ordering a new exhaust, and I'll be going with the racing beat turbo back exhaust.

I noticed that they went from a 3.15" OD downpipe to a 3" downpipe. Anyone know why?

Will this make a power difference? (i.e. would it be worth trying to find an older system with the larger downpipe?)

Are you sure there's a difference? I 3.15 OD is about the same as 3 ID, which I think is what its always been. They prob just changed the wording, but call and make sure.

Yah, they changed it from 3.15" OD to 3" OD, and I swear I read on this forum they changed something else... but I don't know what.

I'd imagine that it shouldn't make a power difference though.
