Racing Beat downpipe w/Presilencer?

I'm going to get a Racing Beat downpipe with presilencer for my '90 vert as soon as Racing Beat gets it back in stock (later this week or next week). Wondering who has one of these on their car. Is it a noticeable gain? how much louder is it? just want to hear what it's like from those who have it.

Are you talking DP or race pipe? A DP typically fits a turbo, and I couldn't tell from your sig line if you had a TII motor. I have the RB DP/presilencer, and I love it. It came chromed, which I thought would flake or peel or something due to the temps at the back of the turbo. It is fine, other than the usual heat coloring. Good quality and perfect fit. About 20-25hp difference after removal of cats. Not too loud, but louder than stock. I also run an N1 on the back of it.

Thumbs up Love the Racing Beat

I have the Racing Beat Header with the Pre-silencer and Cat Back and I love it. Defnitley great quality and it sounds great. The NA will be loud BUT in my opinion not too loud. I love just listening to it with the radio off sometimes

I had the RB front pipe and pre-silencer and Dynomax turbo mufflers on my 88 vert. There was a noticeable increase in power, the noise was OK but the big draw back was the stink. It was so bad I almost choked. So I put the factory stuff back on.If you do any driving with the top down make sure you have breathing equipment in the car.

what did you need for the header/presilencer to hook up to the catback? a custom pipe?
