Racing beat makes a down pipe for the N/A you nerbs, it just replaces the precats, and the presilencer replaces the main cats...phawlah!

Yeah, and they're called headers. A downpipe is a single tube that connects directly to the turbocharger.

perfect example of TALKING OUT YOUR ***.damn Canadians! Nice way to burn yourself!BTW Almost the same setup you speak of is right here........................RB headers to PS to single CS.
I think he is up to 3 fix-it tickets for being to loud.

http://media.putfile.com/flames70 very short, but very loud too.

Wow... some people need to get their facts straight before acting like they know what they're talking about.

If you keep the stock exhaust manifold then the pipe from there to the main cat is still called a "downpipe" as it is shown on racing beat's website. A downpipe is not necessarily only for turbo.

I have/had the same setup but only with a header. Was too loud for me kind of driving and I got alot of bad attention (some old people wanted to beat me up!).

It has great gains and will do the job if you don't mind the noise. Search my threads to see my video that I posted on streetfire.net.

Have a good day .

i have a RB complete exhaust(TII) but i dumped the presilencer didn't like it and made a custom mid pipe. it sounds really nice i like it. the presilencer made it sound like there was no exhaust i didn't like it, and even with the custom mid pipe it don't sound that loud, pretty quiet.

i've got the same setup on my '88 vert. loud i must say but i've taken a 2500 mile road trip with it. i will say this much though, if i ever do that again the silencer is going in, i don't care. btw, no cops bitching at me for exhaust yet had it on for 3 or so months

I just thank God that cops around here don't give a damn about loud exhausts. I drove around for about a week with literally nothing but the exhaust manifold, and the cops said nothing. BTW, I don't reccoment doing it. My ears were ringing for quite a while the one time I floored it.

Uh..you don't know "loud" until you run open HEADER...

The exhaust manifold is thick cast iron, and extremely sound deadening even by itself.

Try open header..I ran mine for about 2 seconds before realizing I was going to die.

Oh, and uh..

LMFAO. See, this is why this thread is bad at times. People come on and talk about things they know nothing about, and some people LISTEN. Some people should just READ and ABSORB information for like a year, before they are allowed to post, honestly...

i always thought "open headers" was to run it with just the manifold/headers but no presilencer or cat. I heard somewhere it was bad for your car to run it like that.

open header = headers (stock or aftermarket) with nothing else attached, no cats, etc.

aka bad idea.

rb headers + presilencer + corksport catback is very close to open headers on the loudness scale.

One day a buddy of mine pulled off the manifolds on an Escalade, and started her up. It sounded like a ******* gunshot/earthquake/bomb going off in the shop.

Made a few of the guys inside, including me, hit the deck real fast, lol.

Wouldn't open headers be extremely dangerous seeing as rotaries are known to shoot flames and the fuel lines are fairly near by?
