Racing Beat with Apex N1's

i have an 89 GTUs and im wondering if the racing beat road header and presilencer will bolt up to an Apex dual N1 catback. think itll bolt up fine? or ill have to do some custom work. or if you have any other ideas. because im getting the catback from a friend real cheap. so im just wondering what i should do with the front of the exhaust.

Don't get the Header.... Get the downpipe and presilencer.... you only gain about 1 HP with the header.... (the guys at racing beat will tell you this as well, the header gives the best results with carbs)

If you've ever been in an N/A with a head and N1's... holy crap, you can feel your fillings rattle from the noise

If the dual N1 cat back bolts up to the stock cat... then it will also bolt up to the racing beat downpipe and presilencer being that the racing beat catback bolts up to the stock cat, and the DP/PS combo is the same length as the stock cat system

(I am 100% about this because I had the stock cat, added the RB ccatback first and THEN the DP/PS a few months later)

it works....but it is ******* loud.....no ******* joke. you need the header +
http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=16405
and
http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=16408

and it bolts onto TRUE APEX-i N1s

i'd do it with something besides N1s.....too loud

why is it always catback?? catback so expensive..... when in reality it's just a muffler w/ that shiny connecting pipe to it; a professional muffler shop can do that **** for hundreds less....

no argument here.....I had a custom exhaust on my old 90 GTU...300 total for a catback...but I just bought a 3" turbo-back for 240......on ebay....my fiancee's car came with the header, 2 presilencers and the Apex-i N1s.....We're gonna get an HKS cat-back from another forum member soon.

so the header and the power pulse presilencer will bolt up straight to my apex N1's? thats all i need? yea i know the n1's will be loud, but im getting it cheap from a friend since he wrecked his 7. its only 3 months old, so its not too old. i can deal with the loudness, its not my daily driver anyway. just a little side project.

you said road race header and presilencer.. thats the uncollected "true dual" type right? in that case, it will not bolt up. if you get the regular collected header and presilencer your good to go.

if i get the streetable header/collecter from racing beat it says to not use it on a fuel injected car? why is this? is it just for emission reasons or whats the deal. i planned on getting this but this scares me. i dont know what to do.
