Race tonight Need Help Now!!!

I have a race tonight against a 3kgt vr4. One of my vacume hoses keeps coming off though. My question is do I need the hose that goes from the stock intercooler to the intake manifold? Not either of the charge pipes...Im not that stupid I have a fmic and so it is plumbed in somewhere else and keeps ******* blowing off at full boost. Also can I beat a near stock vr4 that is running 2 15g turbos (or so he says)? Thanks guys.

if the pipe comes off you will have no boost... stick a hose clamp on it.

What hose is it? I think you are reffering to the hose that goes from the IC to the cold start assist or whatever, then a hose runs from that into the intake mannifold. I broke mine when I was messing around with the engine and just capped it off at both places and it's fine.

If I recall correctly you were the same person posting about the MBC. I did a quick scan of your mods and I didn't see even a walbro! With full intake, exhuast, and boost controller set to 12 pounds a t2 would take a stock vr4, but I don't know much at all about modded ones.

Ive got a walbro, and im talking about the only vac line that comes directly off the intercooler and it goes into the upper intake manifold.

there are 2 lines that do. if they are off. the car will not idle. and you will have almost no boost.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to cap both off. Where the nipple shoots out the side of the IC, and the lil nipple on the top of the intake mannifold. Or like Scott said just get a hose clamp

What you sound like you are describing is the cold start system. It is a small black tubular object that has two nipples on it. It is plugged in to the engine harness via a plug in the back. When I cracked mine I just unscrewed it from the intakemannifoled, unplugged it, and pulled the hoses off the IC and the top of the IM respectively. Then I went to the store and bought some caps and then zip tied them down (I kept shooting one of them off lol)

Is it one of the hoses that is connected to the black circular thing on top of the intake mannifold? If so you can take that entire thing off and cap both the nipples on the IC and the nipple by the BAC. It's just the cold start emissions stuff.

a vr4 is a trim of the 3000 gt. The stealth and 3000GT are the same cars although the stealth is made by dodge and the 3kgt by mitsu. Kind of like the dsm deal. It is an awd car, although it's pretty heavy, around 3800 if I recall correctly. Super loaded on the inside, sweet cars. Most cars were 300hp stock with around the same amount of torque. Later models came with 320. It is a twin turbo 3L v6.

I believe I just plugged up everything I disconnected and didn't have a place for when I went with my fmic.

kinda off subject, but there is also a hose from UIM that goes to the power steering rack. what that? there no hose on the jspec engine from UIM to power steer rack. also take off ur power steer belt, take out ur spare, take off ac belt, take off airpump belt (if u dunt have cat) an any other garbage in ur car. that shud free up hp.

HEY

WHERE IN SANDIEGO???

I would like to meet you guys. I think I can beat a VR4 from a roll now like the 91s. I raced one before and it was close. He got me by only 1.5 cars 20-100 but I got the slight jump. Now I have 20rwp mroe than last time I raced him according to the dyno.

If we meet up I can bring some other 7s. A yellow one streetported carbed who just beat a T11 on the highway last week.

Let me know ASAP because this may be the last time I go out with my 7. I might sell it.
