Race at HI-280 II: The V6 Accord

If you are reading this, you probably read my first one. Anyway, after my race with the 95 Prelude VTEC, I ended up with another Honda, a 2001 V6 Accord. It was a stock but fast. I wasn't gonna race this guy coz I already had fun with the Prelude but my friend kept on teasing me so I went and follow him. I though I'm gonna be able to take this guy quickly but he gave some hard time. I was behind him for about 2 miles and once again hit the redline at 4th in 120MPH. So I switch to 5th and was still trying to keep up on him. I was already driving 130 but I am still behind him about a car length. Then we came up to a corner and took him there for a while but he got away again and of course I was still following him. Then after another mile, I was about to take him completely when all of a sudden, this stupid Ford Taurus went to my lane while I was making 130MPH. So I press on the brake(or I'll die) and avoided the stupid guy and followed the Accord again. He was already about 1/4 mile ahead of me and I never got a chance to get close to him again.

If the Taurus wasn't there, I could have taken the Accord. But I'm not sure if that's true because I never really did take him. Do you think an 88 N/a can take a stock V6 Accord?

Oh well, those are my stories for today!

If you're going to be an *** and put other people in danger, post about it in the kills section. This goes for both this post and the prelude one.

Find an empty parking lot or industrial park and do some 0-60 or 1/4 mile stuff.

Don't put the rest of us in danger please.

Nothing worse than 2 nice cars and 2 people dying or taking others out with them.

i raced a 2000 V6 accord (2-door, dual exhaust) from about 0-90. up to 60 we were like dead even then i hit 3rd gear and pulled "maybe" a car length on him.

i think when car & driver tested them a while back they got a 7.2 sec 0-60...not bad!
