thats not my car and i dont know who's car that is, a friend just gave that pic to me and i wanted some feedback on it. i just make fc stuff, i dont own one

It's my car , i have a few more pics but i did'nt like the way it looked ( too short on the sides), i'll try to find some more pics of it for you..

the are from a cruise we had , i think there are a few decent ones of the front. I still have the lip here that is pre cut ( 6 inches taken out of the middle)

 

i saw one on an S4 Vert and it look great, it fit pretty well. I did a double take cuz i was like "damn, is that an FD chin spoiler?! Damn, is that an FD wing on the back?!"

I hope cf splitters does not = canards? canards on a street car=rice

 

....umm canards are the triangle carbon fiber pieces that go on the sides..
splitters go on the bottom...

i dont consider splitters or canards rice...unless they are plastic

 

I was making sure you werent talking about the canards though, ha, forgive me, its late

 

i had a 99' spec lip. theres no way it would fit good on the car. The front is ok, but the sides dont match at all.

 

I think it looks good but for the price you would have to pay for a used one you could almost buy a corksport front end. So I think that its not worth it for me but its a different look that know one else will have so that is very unique for a FC

 

Doesn't flow, FD's have that curvy style, it stands out like a sore thumb on the blocky 80's look of an FC

 

Hmmm- just not sure- I have an s4 vert- maybe if I had one laying around...

 

when it was on my car it was about 50/50 people either loved it or thought it looked gay, it was something diff. though the sides just did'nt match up. looks good in that pic though.

It kinda ruins the lines of the car since it was made for the FD which had curves and our FCs have more of lines than curves.

 

Oh yeah- I see now that if you look close the sides of the lip don't go as far back as the lower part of the front fenders.

Maybe on a black S5. But even then I dunno.

 

The best front lip for the FC is the mazdaspeed one, IMO. If you're planning on making a knockoff, please do.

 

I've seen worse... It could be modified to fit and not look bad at all.
