Someone built something very very similar on this board....I don't remember which member though. He built a controllable butterfly valve right before a catalytic converter I think and then just activated the valve when he wanted to use the catalytic converter or when he wanted a free flowing exhaust. Sounds like an awesome idea but the $ is way too much. It shouldn't be too hard to rig up something similar and post a DIY though. anyone? anyone?
