Question quickie on passenger side engine mount

Okay I'm in the middle of changing out my engine mounts. I finished the driver's side(good lord what a PITA) and need to know if I can remove the little arm thing that attaches to the mount and the bottom of the oil pan, or will I get a facefull of oil? I can't remember if it was all sealed up there when I put the oil pan back onto my rebuild three years ago. My memory sucks Anyway, if someone would let me know asap, it'd be great. If I can remove it I should be able to finish in about 20 minutes, and see what difference it makes.

I got done late this morning. Actually before going to bed, late this morning. Found I had put the driver's side mount in upside down , so I took it out and re-did it. Went ahead and dropped the passenger side mounting arm and found..... tada....... broken mount. Patched everything back up and drove it today. Has a much better more solid feel than it did before, obviously. Only real difference normally is the lessened effect of slop between on and off the gas, and the slight bit of additional vibration at idle. All in all a pretty decent deal and a good learning experience(didn't realize I had to loosen tranny to get engine high enough on driver's side, and took a whole lot of extra time ). I need to change the oil before really running it through it's paces and finding out how much benefit it has.
