Quick vaccuum question
Probably a stupid question, but do all the metal vaccuum nipples on the throttle body, upper intake, and lower intake manifolds all suck in air or do some of them blow air out?

so as RPM increase, they suck, but at idle there is no vaccum or pressure? Anyone know which ones? And does anyone know if any of the nipples blow air out instead of pulling air in?

I have the FSM and a Haynes manual. Just wondering why the nipples are all over the place instead of in one area.
Plus the engine is out right now so i can't hook up a gauge.

Guys, if you don't know, don't guess.
All of the nipples on the LIM will have vacuum. The ones on the front and rear of the plenum have passages that connect some to the front of the TB, meaning they don't see vacuum.
I can't be specific without knowing what your engine is (ALWAYS include that in your posts). Basically the oil nozzles and the injector bleeds get air. The purge valve has two hose connected to the plenum, one vac, one not. There's one vac line that goes to the solenoids.

Thanks for clearing that up. And who was guessing? I asked because I wasn't sure. I don't have the emissions rack anymore and I needed to know which ones are vaccuum sources so I can hook up the air bleeds and the FPR vaccuum source.
Oh yeah, 86GXL N/A

The FPR goes to the nipple on the inside of the LIM. The injector bleeds come from the nipples on the back of the plenum, but I'm not 100% sure about which is which on the NA. Blowing smoke through them is a good trick for working it out, but you need to bolt the TB on to do this. The ones that don't get vacuum (like the injector bleeds) are fed from the hole in between the secondary throttles on the front of the TB.
