The stock seats cost like 1000 dollars, and name-brand seats start at 500.

So if you want to trust your life (seats are a vital safety component) to untested seats that cost 1/4th as much, go ahead.

Pleather, tube frame and untested recline/locking mechanisms.

If you don't want the recline, I'd suggest something akin to a Corbeau Clubman, Corbeau FX1 or Sparco Sprint.

And there's no need to ask for a response every 10min.

a few cars ago i aquired had came with a set. both were broken in different ways. if you just want to look cool and/or have a seat that will keep you in your seat so long as you dont crash, then go for it.

if you dont wanna die get a real seat.

Check out F1Spec. About 300$ for a full bucket.

any reclinable seats is not as safe as a one piece seats.

Nevertheless, Tenzo R seats arent terrible. People bash them because of the brand name. If you need something to hold you over for a while then buy em and enjoy em. If you want something solid built with lots of R/D go with Sparco or Recaro or Cobra, etc

I got my bucket seat (FRP) from them a two years ago or so for $170.

OTOH, if you can afford a name-brand, get one. Seats are not really something you should cheap out on (no need to buy a Bride or Recaro though..those are ridiculously expensive).

Bride used to be good. They're now under an unreliable manufacturing status.

NOTE: Got this from someone else but I have no reason to not believe it.

So apparently the marketing company for Bride seats (Tee's) has straight up jacked the Bride name, trademark, etc. from the manufacturer that originally came up with name, designs, and everything. There was a recent court case that just confirmed it since Tee's registered the trademarks and **** in the U.S. they are walking away with the Bride name and everything and from what I've heard, they are now manufacturing the seats in Taiwan....

Super gay but what can you do....the manufacturer should have registered the trademarks and protected their own asses from the getgo.

I had been looking into Bride seats. However after hearing about this I think I'll end up going with some Cobra seats instead.
