quick rotor question

if only one of my rotor is damaged but the other is still good.... do i have to replace them in a pair? in other words.... are each rotor balanced to run with its mate rotor?

No. Each one does have a balance letter though, and ideall you don't want to have either rotor more then a letter away from the next.
