hey, gotta 90 turbo rx7 with intake and rb turbo back exhaust with proper fuel mods. i was cruising in 3rd gear at 6-7000 rpm and accidently went into 2nd gear only for 2 seconds or so and went past 8 for about 2 seconds.. engine only has 7000 km on it. should i worry? its a mazda remanf. engine..

Nope. Redline for S5 cars is actually a lot closer to 8000 rpm then 7000.
Besides, you have a one year warranty on the engine

all the turbos are 7000 redline. but I think thats a lack of turbo size /fuel reason. not under load it should take 8000 considering they are basicly the same as N/A.
