Quick Questions on my tranny swap.

I've read the FAQs on N/A tranny to TII tranny swap but i was wondering if i really needed

a.) that driveshaft or if i can use my old N/A drive shaft and drill holes in them?
b.) a TII starter
c.) a TII clutch
d.) anything else that you guys would think i don't need to replace with a TII part

Thanks A lot guys!

To use a R type (turbo tranny) in a non turbo you will need a Turbo flywheel, Entire Turbo Clutch (plate, disk, throwout bearing), Turbo clutch slave, Turbo starter, Custom drive shaft (or a Turbo driveshaft and Turbo differential and Turbo halfshafts), and Turbo tranny mount.

For the driveshaft, i think mazdatrix sells a t2 to NA driveshaft.

Oh and another quick question, would a s5 N/A tranny fit on a s4 car without having to switch out too many parts?

Yes, a S5 tranny is a direct swap. the only difference with the S5 tranny is a lower 5th gear ratio, and if i remember correctly the synchros are stronger as well, but im not 100% on that.

Yes, just remember to use the S5 crossmember.
