quick question on restrictor pill

This is really a stupid question, but... what is the right way to orient the restrictor pill? Should the little hole face the engine or should it face the boost sensor?

Doesn't matter as the air must pass the orfice at one time or another.

I'd assume the smaller opening faces the boost sensor but I don't think it would make much difference.
