quick question on pineapple sleeves

quick question on pineapple sleeves
hi is it possible to change the pineapple sleeves on a rx7 s4 non turbo 6 port 13b to like a bridgeport pineapple sleeve and if you can can you change them with out pulling the motor apart???

The pineapple sleeves are just inserts to the factory 5th/6th port sleeves. They smooth the flow of air into the engine.
A bridgeport is a physical addition of ports on the irons, and can only be accomplished by tearing the engine down and cutting them into the irons.
These sleeves can be removed without tearing the engine down, but you must remove the LIM to do so. If you have the pineapple inserts in your sleeves and they rotate freely, leave them alone. Removing them hurts the performance.
