Unhappy quick question with pics thanx

just a quick question. i have searched, and it always says, the one behind the water pump, but there are two of them there. also the manual says on the block under oil filter, so what one tells my ecu how much fuel to send on a cold start? green , black , brass with clear. . btw what is happening is, i try to start my car and i have to pump the gas pedal to get it to even try to start, but even then it wont idle , so any segestions would be very helpful. exept ofcourse flamming me and telling me to search. thanx for looking

The green plug connects to the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor.

they both read water temp, the green one on the back of the waterpump is what the ecu reads from (and the one you should be concerned about), the one on the back of the block is what your guage in the stock guage cluster reads from, so it shouldnt affect how the engine runs.

if i were you, i would change the coolant temp sensor/connector (the green one on the waterpump). another thing to look at is the coolant thermopellet thing on the throttle body. i dont know the official word for it but when its cold it adjusts your throttle body and does that gas pedal pumping action you have to do for you. i could point it out in real life but idk how to describe it perhaps someone smart can come along and elaborate.
