Why would you remove the cold start and BAC? No gains, only losses.

Most people either loop one nipple to the other, or cap both.

It's not like i tore down my whole engine to do this. The motor was out of the car and i figued i'd simplify things before i installedt. btw, i though racing beat said it gives you like 79hp if you remove it. All jokes aside it is ok to cap it like rotary resurrection says to with some rtv the a cap then a hose clamp. This wont put extra stress on the water pump or mess up the coolant flow?

Why does everyone think simple = best? Do you understand the downsides of removing the thermowax and BAC valve? Do you know what they even do? They're not emission controls for a start.

ya i know what they do. I also know that now that they are removed it is hard to keep my car running for the first couple of minutes and the idle sucks the big one. cant get it to idle lower than 1300 w/o it bogging down when my escort e-fan kicks on. However i sold all the parts to aparently already enlightened forums members so im up a creak without a paddle as they say.

Aaron's already answered your question then. If you're worried about coolant flow just loop them together.
