Quick Question about rebuild. 13b injection fc3s
So, I was wandering the f.a.q. page, but I couldn't find anything on the ruibuild price of the car. I have a 1988 GXL, non turbo, going 140k and still strong. I was thinking of rebuilding the car for turbo later on when I get the turbo. But, I was wondering if you guys could give me an estimate on how much a turbo rebuild is gonna cost without labor, and with labor. I really appreciate the help from another rotary fan, thanks.

The price of a rebuild really depends if you do it yourself, send it out, and the condition of your current engine. In the 2nd Gen archives there is a thread detailing the parts/costs that would be needed in a self rebuild.

Mazdatrix.com has a price matrix on how much they charge to rebuild an engine and what gets replaced.
I dont know if this is what you meant, but you plan on turbo-ing your N/A motor, that is generally a custom project as there really arnt not any bolt on packages to turbo an N/A. There are a few recent threads about doing a custom turbo project. You could always drop in a jspec engine/ecu/drivetrain in if you really want a turbo.
