Quick question about essentric shaft

what is the thread size of the essentric shaft on the flywheel side? not the size of the flywheel nut, but the actual size of the threads on the essentric shaft where the flywheel bolts on.

anyone know?

thanks

Probably metric. Take the nut to a hardware store and find out.

well, when i did a clutch job a little over a year ago, i put the flywheel nut back on with loctite and an impact wrench just like everyones says to do. well, i pulled my motor out today and tried to get the flywheel nut off again. it took forever to get that thing off with an impact wrench! it wasnt just the intial to break the nut loose either, the whole way off the esecntric shaft the nut was just barely turing with an impact gun on it! at any rate, the threads are just slightly damaged, nothing that cant be fixed. i just wanted to get a file of the right size to clean them up a little bit.
