Wiring open the auxilary ports isn't really a mod. Having it function properly will give the car the best performance. Not trying to start an arguement, its just something thats been covered alot on here.

the two pre-cats are a huge handicap

definately replace them, they only help w/ emissions before you're warmed up to full temp and just create a huge restriction

keep the main cat if you want to keep emissions, or rx7.com has hi-flo bonez cats w/ straight pipes replacing the pre-cats

if you don't want to keep any cats i suggest the racing beat testpipe/presilencer combo

^^ Yea i agree too! lately i have not had time to mess with them,my car only improved from wiring them open so in a way its a mod to me.In time im going to have my engine rebuilt so im just trying to get by while having alittle fun in the process. Like i can get a peice of pipe welded in place of the two little cats for real cheap, plus when i want ill be able to take it off and put what is it called,..a down pipe?,mid pipe in place of it or the stock cats back on. Im just wondering if it would be worth my time?..Because if you guys think it would i would like to get it done tomarrow.

Yea you can tell im cheap having my friend do it that way,but im in school and right now money got tight so im going to have to improvise for the time being ya know!

Ok you sound sure enough im going to get it done tomarrow i might have the main cat removed as well since its going to be awhile before i have to smog it,and im going to have him weld brackets like the stock flanges so i can replace all the cats without removing the muffler and the piping up to the main cat.
