Quick Q: Where's the fuel filter located?

Quick Q: Where's the fuel filter located?
I don't have a manual for this car yet, and I'm planing to change the fuel filter soon. Where is it located? I know that I can access the pump from inside the car. But I don't know where the filter is mounted.

correct me if im wrong guys. though it was the black cylinder can about 6" or so down below the master cylinder. you can see the 2 rubber fuel lines coming out top of it going to / near the block

Driver's side, down sorta low just in front of the firewall. (at least that's where mine is on my '90 TII)
