Ok, I am gonna play Devil's advocate for a moment. I am gettin kinda tired of the FC 2k kit. YEah, it looks cool, yeah it is from the most renowned tuner of rotaries is Japan, sure it is hella expansive so that must mean it is cool, but I am tired of seeing it every 3rd post.

I'm a little unclear on all this... Exactly how much faster does all that fiberglass make it go? Has anybody dyno'd 'em yet?

Or is it a fixed ratio like 10lbs = 1hp?

come on, ill admit that they look sweet and all. a couple i dont like cause i think it makes the car look like a great white shark which is a little gay. id rather take a border or mazdaspeed kit please.

 

Reducing weight does not increase HP, it only makes it easier for your engine with x amount of HP to get moving. A dyno would tell you nothing 1/4 mile times and trap speeds would be the difference.

Um, he was being sarcastic. Anyway, those kits are nice, but seeing them over and over and over and over and aover gets a little old.

Heh. I personnly drool over the FEED front lip, as well as the Panspeed one. The Bomex is ok too. But I am weird, I like pop ups.......a lot.

Personally, I wouldn't do that to my cars - if I wanted something that looked like that, I'd have BOUGHT something that looked like that!

 

For one thing those cars are probably in Japan. Another most people don't spend money like that without backing it up. Everybody can say what they want, its all preference. If I could I would have one stock and one like that. I think they are way cool. Nobody around here can say rice. There is nothing like that around here. Not like the same body kit on every honda.

I dont think he was referring to the body kits as making them fast...rather that they are all tuned by RE Amemiya.
