im looking to take out the throttle cable of my parts car. its an s4 n/a if that make any difference. i noticed thats it goes through the driverside firewall above the gas pedal. but i cant see a way to pull it out. is there a certain way to pull these out...?

 

It is held to the firewall inside a plastic grommit with clips along the side. You need to use a screwdriver to pry the clips from inside while someone else pulls from outside.
