Quick little oil weight question
I like Castrol GTX 20W50, although other brands are fine. There is a big debate over using synthetic oil in the engine - my recommendation is to play it safe and avoid it. However, synthetic oil in the transmission and differential is a very good thing.
Mazda recommends SAE viscosity depending on the ambient air temperature in your area:
-20F to +30F 5W30
-10F to +85F 10W30
-10F and higher 10W40 and 10W50
+20F and higher 20W40 and 20W50

I used Castrol 20w50. Doesnt really matter what brand you use, just change it often.
