quick injecter question
quick injecter question
with the key on, and using a check light, is there power on bolth wires?
i thought one was for power and the other is a ground controlled by the ecu... becuase i'm gitting power on bolth wires

If you're probing the wires with the fuel injectors still plugged in, then yes.
It's a DCV circuit.
Well, after thinking about...it doesn't matter if both sides are powered, since the stock ECU shoots out a pull-to-ground signal to trigger the fuel injectors to fire.

Pull-to-ground means the circuit is constantly hot, but the switched signal is ground.
DCV circuit needs a + and a -.
Most times a DCV circuit is hot switched - most will understand thing.
But you can do this backwards - switch the (-) ground side.
This is how the fuel injectors are fired.
