quick exhaust question

i have a 3" downpipe (brand unknown) and a 3" corksport cat-back . my problem is finding a midpipe . I have a magnaflow muffler midpipe that is the same length as the racing beat 2.5" presilencer that i had laying around . Well its too short and i currently do not have the resources to make it work . the car is on jackstands and i cannot get it to a muffler shop . does anyone know if the rev tII presilencer will work with the corksport cat-back ? And are all the 3" downpipes the same length ? worse comes to worst i'll order a corksport dp and mp and i know that will work , but im looking for a quiter option . TIA

You say the Magnaflow is too short? Measure the distance that it is too short, take it to a muffler shop and have them extend one of the flanges.

its not exactly a straight route , the flange would have to be angled similar to the rev tII presilencer , thats why im asking if that presilencer would work . Based on the pics that i have seen it looks like it might .

Well, you haven't posted the demensions or anything of the dp, so I have no idea. I would take measurements of the dp and call RB and ask for demensions of the rev TII DP and see if they are the same. If so, then the presilencer should work.

So is the CS catback the same length as the stock catback? If its shorter then that might be your problem.
Anyway, it would probably be better to measure the length of the hole and see if its the length of the RevTII presilencer.
Also, are you sure that it will bolt up? THe RB stuff is 3", while the CS catback is 3 1/8"

i figured out my problem . when i had the midpipe made , it was based on the 2.5" racing beat downpipe and presilencer . well i ended up getting a racing beat 3" downpipe and was not aware that it was shorter than the 2.5" , so thats why my midpipe won't fit . im just going to order the racing beat rev tII presilencer and call it a day . thanx
