This might help a little. Some old videos I found. The camera doesn't do it justice. It's slightly deeper than the single N1, and a tiny bit quieter.

I have a thunder fab 3inch DP/MP combo. Its just one long stick. This mates up to the corksport 3 inch catback exactly. This setup is the loudest setup I have ever heard on a rotary. So what I am doing is putting a borla xr1 in the middle before the catback. This will change the sound from a raspy ear bleeding tone to a deep mean sounding "ferrari" like sound. Oh yeah its a hell of alot cheaper than RB. I am sorry but the 2nd gen is coming up on 20 years old and we still seem to be paying top dollar for RB 2nd gen stuff. Their are alot of members here who love RB so you will get different opinions.

yea i was thinking about getting the thunder fab dp mid pipe combo but i wanted a silencer in there i still dont know what i want to do im leaning towards getting the rb dp pre silencer then take it to an exhaust shop to get the extension piece made that way if i ever change my mindd i can just order the rb turboback and put it right on without any problems

i know that which is why all you have to do is take the extension pipe off the pre silencer and then you can hook up the rb cat back also anyone know what i can do to get the link to work on my computer without kicking me offline

Wrong member. I didn't order a hood.
On the RB DP and silencer. You will not be able to mate it correctly to the Y pipe unless you cut either the Y or the RB silencer. I had the turbo back system and tried to connect it to my stock dp and converter just to get it through inspection. I made a pipe, but the angle was so sharp, it hindered the exhaust flow. The RB Y was way out of alignment, but anything can be done with torches.

well i have the full corksport 80mm set up. just three inches all the way to the muffler. i havent installed it yet but im going to buy a 3 inch high flow cat and weld the proper length piping and flanges in and run a cat in place of the midpipe. im hoping that will quiet it down a bit.

I ordered the CS 3in turbo back but they said they didn't have any more DP in stock for the next 2mos. I'm still on the waiting list though, hopefully they get some in before then.
