quick apex n1 question

Just wondering, i was thinking about getting the apex n1 exhaust and was wondering if the apex n1 y-pipe will bolt up to racing beat components, such as, a RB presilencer, or are they different sizes?
thanx

ive heard it both ways saying that it wont because the rb components are longer or shorter or something but then a guy said he bolted the downpipe pre silencer right up to the n1 cat back

yes it will bolt right up.

example: RB headers or downpipe -> RB presilencer -> Apexi N1

all will bolt up no problems. just get new gaskets all around.

yep, exactly right. The only reason it would be the wrong length is if you got the header and not the downpipe, or something like that. The N1 bolts up where the stock y-pipe did, so as long as the RB stuff goes that far, it'll work.

^ i *think* you might be wrong. i'm pretty sure the stock N/A exhaust manifold + RB N/A downpipe is the exact same length as the RB headers alone. with that said (this is for an N/A)...

RB headers -> RB presilencer -> apexi n1
or
stock exhaust manifold -> RB downpipe -> RB presilencer -> apexi n1

both setups will have the exact same length from exhaust ports to the cat-back's can.

the reason i say this is because on my FC i had my stock exhaust manifold, a RB downpipe, a RB presilencer, and the corksport cat-back for about a month. then i got headers, which made the exhaust manifold and downpipe useless. it bolted right in those two component's place. just make sure when you order what ever exhaust components that you get the correct ones for you car... manual, auto, n/a, turbo, etc.
