Questions regarding RTEK 1.7 chip...

Just a few quick questions about it. They say it is configured to run 4x 720cc injectors like they were 4x 550cc. Is this at stock boost? What if you wanted to run 12-14ish. How would the ECU compensate for running higher boost when it is intended to run on stock boost? Also since the injectors are larger, wouldn't it make sense that 720cc injectors should be good for over 300rwhp no? I have all the mods needed (walbro, 4x720's, fmic, KOYO, SAFC2 etc...) Would I need to still use my safc?

Thanks, im still in the dark about how this thing works.

your wrong...

the rte 1.7 only compensates for 720cc secondaries, meaning that the 550cc primaries are still tuned for it. the way that is works on boost is anything over 9 psi it retards the timing degree. if i'm wrong please some one correct me on this. keep your S-AFC2 and fine tune your car with it. the rtek chip allows for better tuning since the ecu is already tuned for bigger injectors. good luck.

Also, does it matter with octane grade of gas? We only have shitty 91 **** water octane up here

EDIT: OK I just read that its only for 720cc secondaries.

Thanks
