Questions - Need Assistance: Power Steering, Gauge Cluster, and ?? (PIX inside)
Ok so first things first. my power steering is acting up. It doesnt turn off, but it seems i have a massive leak somewhere. The power steering hoses are like new. Chances are its loose somewhere just havent had a chance to see it. But i have checked by hand and it doesnt seem to be loose. Anyways, here are the pictures of the mess. Maybe you can give me a better picture on where the leak could be. (by looking at hoses)
Those are the pics of the power steering component.
here is the pic of my cluster. If you look closely my oil pressure gauge is out cold. I figured id buy another one. I ran into an s5 NA cluster would that work for me? I kinda like the circles better. Anyways, please give me your advice on this.
and finally... what the hell is this? i dont know what it is... and if a vacuum tube should be connected to it. Anyways, its circled in yellow.
thanks alot!!!
cant go anywhere without her!

Can't really see much from the pics. Are those SS oil cooler lines? Check to see if they've rubbed through the PS lines. My dad had his turbo oil drain line wear through a metal power steering line in a matter of weeks.
The pic with the circle, that's the clutch slave cylinder, the nipple is for bleeding it, it only needs a hose on it when it's being bled (just like a brake bleeder).
The S5 and S4 instrument clusters aren't directly compatible.
