questions about tranny
I have a 1989 Mazda 929 5spd, it shares the same tranny as you 13b's becasue the 13b will drop right into my car, any ways here it is -
I noticed that sometimes its tricky shift into 2nd and downshift from 4th to 3rd. Recently I added oil, it was near the L and I just checked it and it s at the 1/2 way point and noticibly better than before but will my shifts bew smoother if I get it on F or is my syncro gone ? When I shift from 1st to 2nd I have to kind of bring it in the middle a bit, especially when its cold
Also I hear this rubbing/vibration sound in my rear end, I think its the bearing cause when Im in lower RPM it tend to vibrate, it mosly does this in 4th when Im cruising in the city at lower speeds. What wrong ???
