well they still wobble alot tied together. I am part of a bunch of forums and on the beretta forums a guy made triangluated tower bars and I had a just a brace. Couldnt tell a bit of difference. I paid Like $100 more to get that trianglulated strutbar and once I got it on and took it for a drive I could tell the difference right away. I live in the mountains no flat land around here. All there is, is turns. I put the triangluted bar on and i found that my steering was alot better feeling. I could dive into the turns a little bit. I wasnt A huge dive but a little bit more than i could before. I think i have a pic of the barthe guy made. I havnt had that car in a while. You could ask one of the first gen guys alot of them have switched.

Nothing is wrong with just a plain strut bar. It will reduce flex between the struts, which is what you want. Cusco, Corksport, and a few other companies have gotten the job done and noone here has bitched (other then eBay strut bars) A triangluated strut bar just allows less flex, but is it really worth the extra $$.

I think they're worth it in other words. Plain strut bars that is.

Keep one thing in mind, that when these cars age the strut towers have a tendency to lean in, or actually become closer together. The brace keeps that from happening and does tighten up the front end. You'll see adjustable bars which a lot of people are using. It's an easy installation if the towers have come closer together, just bolt them on and turn the adjuster to snug up, but the towers aren't in the factory position. I have had the adj on for years. I have a non adjustable, MazdaSpeed bar in the garage, but never installed it on the car because I'd need to get the towers back out (minimal) and remove the camber adjusting bolts that were installed. As everytning fine. I'll leave it alone.
On the rear check the front links as they have a tendency to fail, and all other suspension components for wear. Other than that you can always go to coil overs.
