Questions about Fuel Setup

I'm about to get underway with my Aux-Port N/A Project. I'm planning to add a 125shot of Nitrous to the mix sometime after my engines breakin period.

What Fuel Pump / Injectors whould I use for my setup?

I was thinking to keep the 460cc Primarys, dropping in 550cc Secondairies, and putting a TII Fuel Pump in the back; also an S-AFC or S-AFCII controlling it all.

Will the TII pump be enough to handle the fuel requirements w/ the 460/550 combo & 125shot? ~Colby

If the TII pump isn't adiquate enough, perhaps a TII pump for all of the injectors, and the stock N/A pump for the nitrous? Just playing around with ideas, and trying to get an idea of what I should do.

ya but too much at idle and cruise...

what you really need to do is buy a big pump as well as an aftermarket FPR. so it won't run hella rich at idle and cruise.

you so also get a wet system. which means your stock injectors should be fine.

This is a daily driver, so I'd like to keep the fuel pump as streetable as possible... a walbro on almost ANY N/A is going to result in richness that an S-AFC would have trouble leaning down.

If I were running a dry nitrous kit then there wouldn't be a problem, and this thread wouldn't exhist.

The Aux-Port has more area and timing than a standard bridgeport, so I thought that upgraded secondairies were a good idea (as to not max. out the duty cycle on the stock 460's).

So you have added an additional intake tract, that you are calling an Aux port???

Pardon the questions, but I am not following you at all on this.

Define your Aux port.

I'm the one responsible for that slew of aux-port/aux-bridge posts a few weeks ago.

I plan to have this port put on my S5 13B's endplates, and a large streetport done to the primary port. This, with a functioning 5/6th port and VDI system. W/ some well-placed cuts in my pineapple sleeves, the upper port will stay completely closed until the aux. ports open.

My engine plans include the before mentioned ports, having my stationary gears and e-shaft hardened, oil system work (TII Pump, Upped Pressure, and porting of oil passages), and deep-grooved bearings in clearanced S5 rotors. Bareblock setup (A/C, P/S, emissions removed) w/ ported S5 intake manifold (hopefully will have phelonic spacers made by then), CAI, Header & 2½" Single Exhaust, and S-AFC/II. Then, after it gets some miles, a 125shot of nitrous.

So, any ideas about my fuel requirements? What injectors are needed for a 180+HP N/A 13B with an excessive port & high redline (~10k)? What fuel pump is needed to supply those injectors AND a 125shot wet kit with the fuel needed @ 10K RPM? ~Colby

Yeah I think the T2 walbro pump would be fine to run the system, as you could really run four 550's with it without any problems

I might lean towards an aftermarket ECU though, rather than trying to piggy back the AFC onto the system.

I'd lean towards standalone too...

...too bad I have a standalone taste, and a piggyback pocketbook. I know that the port CAN be ran on the stock ECU + S-AFC, so that's the path I'll have to take until I can afford a standalone.
