you can put a 3" exhaust without an fcd...its just recommended to have one because you might hit fuel cut. no you dont need a larger fuel pump. and no you dont need larger injectors if you get a larger fuel pump.

Your car Is a turbo I assume??? If so you will hit fuel cut off, and from what I have read on here and learned you need to port the waste gate get a bigger fuel pump and possible bigger injectors and something to control the extra fuel, Wideband,SAFC, Rtek chip.....theres prolly more but thats just brief and just what I know whitch isnt much....

If your wastegate is not ported, a 3" exhaust will increase boost to the point where fuel is cut (8.6psi). Porting the wastegate like this will probably keep boost below that point depending on other mods. If you want more boost than 8.6psi, you will need a FCD.

and if i get an fcd, do i need a bigger fuel pump?
If you increase boost past the normal cut point, you should upgrade the fuel pump.

and if i get a bigger fuel pump, do i need bigger injectors?
No, you need bigger injectors if your mods force injector duty cycle past 80-85%. With the stock turbo you should not need to upgrade the injectors (unless you go silly with boost, which will kill the turbo).

No. Fuel cut is just that, a cut, not a reduction.

You won't hit fuel cut if you get a FCD.
