questions about boost leakage?
hello all,
it's not as if i hear any hissing or anything i was just wondering how come my boost seems to taper off the higher it gets. i mean when i go wot then i hit full boost but after a few seconds it falls off. another thing is that my boost gauge is always in vac or negative boost. i thought once the car started boosting then the guage should hold at that amount and not fade. am i mistaken? help is appreciated.

AFAIK that's pretty normal, but then again, ITS AFAIK! lol
As for vac, yes, that's good for gas mileage, you don't want to have constant boost like us supercharged people do!

you're leaving out a ton of info, but heres a whack at it.
on a stock turbo, turbo car, the turbo is too small to make max boost at max rpms, or to put it another way, boost drops over 6000rpms.....
