I recently purchased an 88 vert, with a few electrical problems. Some fuses are obviously missing, and I was wondering if any of your guys had a fuse diagram for the vert, I saw that the diagram for the coupe was in the archves.

Also are the motors for the rag top located with the spare tire? If so does anybody know where I can find new ones, because a few owners ago they seem to have been removed in favor of some amps.

Fuse box layout is listed in the FAQ for FC sticky thread, found at the top of this, the 2nd Gen RX-7 technical section.

The fuseboxes are all the same, they just add more fuses based on options, but the positions and wiring is exactly the same regardless of it if is a 88 convertible or 91 coupe.

 

the motors are most certainly not within the spare tire, they are behind a bunch of the plastic trim on either side of that little bay that the spare tire sits in
