Question Questions 67 & 68

I'm just about finished reinstalling the motor on my 87 T2. I bought the car with the engine mostly torn down so its been interesting putting it back together.
But there are two more things I just can't find the answer to with the search function.

First, I can't find where the sensor on top of the radiator plugs in. Where is the plug located? Does it come from the engine wiring harness? Or someplace else? I've spent at least an hour trying to find where it plugs in.

Second, which of the two metal fuel lines coming from the engine does the fuel intake hose connect to? The one on the right or on the left?

thanks guys

if youre talking about the fuel lines that go in to the primary/secondary rails and back out--it goes:

(no emissions)

the line coming from the Fuel Filter is the inward line (look down by firewall you can see it)--that goes to the pulsation dampener first (primary rail, some of them are switched from left/right so which ever side has the PD hanging off the rail, go to that side first) --then out the opposite side, up to the secondary rail (the side of the rail that has nothing) and then out the Fuel Pressure Regulator side of the 2ndary rail, down to the exit line (by the fuel filter/inward line)

or maybe you mean the line coming into the rats nest ? i dont know much about them (if they differ from year to year or TII/NA -- but if you have your UIM off, you should be able to trace the path of the line on the rats nest and whichever side goes to the primary rail should be your INward fuel line.

if youre talkin about somethin else, sorry for rambling nonsense at you lol
