well to beable to feel and have maximum performance with street ports you need to buy a complete rebuild kit but with a t2 you will notice more of a gain with that engine but yet it might require more maintnance than an n/a w/ street ports

street port and bridge 5/6th
it would be pretty cool and you will beat stock T2s.... as long as you got a full exhaust... heh

well, you don't really "buy" a street-port.

A street-port is a somewhat involved process, that includes disassembling the whole motor to widen, extend and smooth the internal intake and exhaust ports. You can buy templates from Racing Beat for about $75. For someone who's pulled the motor and disassembled it before (granted they have the correct tools) they could do this project in a day. For someone who has no experience, I'd hold off on doing a street-port (yourself) unless you're willing to spend a fair amount of time learning about how these motors are put together. Once you're on the path of learning, it's all pretty simple, all you need are tools, time, sources (this forum/rebuild video's/Factory Shop Manual -FSM-) and motivation.

Again, unless you're willing to put time, money, and effort into figuring out how these motors work, it's probably easier to just buy a Turbo II Rx7 than attempting to drop a TII driveline into an N/A, or installing a turbo onto your N/A motor.

Either way, good luck.

Stick around and learn some stuff.
